Can you tell us a bit more about the solution that we have provided the Lapeyre Group ? What was their main goal?
The Lapeyre Group’ storage offer is quite rich with adjustable offers but also custom-built offers. The offer’s layout rules are very complex and depend on a large number of references. The Lapeyre group wanted to facilitate the storage configuration for both consumers and sellers. Furthermore, they wanted to benefit from the latest 3D technologies to offer a simple and playful user experience to allow the seller to concentrate on his expertise on the subject and as a seller.
SquareClock’s 3D Storage is a 3D storage configuration solution with a professional version for the seller which enables him to show a visualization of a client’s project in real-time 3D before turning it into a reality. Users can quickly design a room and configure a storage space with all kinds of options. This solution enables you to get, in just a few clicks, a clear estimate of your space planning project.
This solution has also become a showcase of all the storage category products of the Lapeyre group and a real selling tool to accelerate the consumers’ decision in the buying process by creating the best possible layout in a given space.
What are the 3D Storage solution main innovations?
The 3D Storage solution benefits from the power of the whole SquareClock 3D platform. But we can also find several innovations in this version:
Lapeyre’s storage catalog contains several ranges of storage. Each range is characterized by different design, pricing, and manufacturing constraints. It is difficult for users to know all the constraints. Our 3D rules engine takes these constraints into account to facilitate the design phase, regardless of the complexity.
The 3D Storage solution uses an anchor engine to easily and precisely place an object next to another one: for instance with the anchor engine it is really simple to position a shelf or a drawer inside a box. You can also design a custom-built storage space in just a few clicks.
Finally, the catalog configurator drastically reduces the number of references manipulated by users. This number has been reduced by 70 percent. In our solution, a shelf is a shelf. You can customize it afterwards in terms of colour, dimension, etcetera without having to worry about which product reference to use.
